Born at 11.01pm on 18th May in the birth pool at home after a very quick labour! Two and a half hours .......is that a record?

"I'm two weeks old - wow time has flown - it feels like yesterday I was still tucked up cosy inside my Mum. We had our first trip out on Tuesday in my new buggy - I was very good and slept through the whole thing!"

" I've been busy putting on weight and am now 7lbs and 7 oz - a wee bit bigger than when I was born. My Mum and Dad are very happy that I'm getting bigger and am sporting a very cute little double chin to prove it!"

"I'm nearly 8 weeks old now and check me out I now weigh 9lbs 9.5oz! I've been busy charming my Mum and Dad with my little cheeky smile too :-)"

"I've started grasping things now - I love helping to hold my bottle when I have my top ups and gripping my tiny teds in my right fist. Mum and Dad think I'm going to be right handed. We went to Cafe Rouge yesterday and I got a balloon - it was fun pulling on the string and watching it float around above my pram. Oh and I can also freak Mum and Dad out by moving half way up my cot when they are asleep!!".

"I've found these things on the end of my little legs - they are apparently called feet & toes. I like holding onto them when I'm having my nappy changed and love thumping them both down on the mat it makes a nice noise :-) I'm also loving my new library book called 'Farmer Duck' - I have my very own library card and everything!".

"Well I'm five months old now and can stand up if my Mum or Dad holds me firmly under my arms. I love bouncing on their laps and will squeal with delight - which can be a bit loud sometimes - but I'm just trying out my lungs for size! I love shaking my rattles especially the little ocotpus shaped one - I hold him by the legs :-) My gums are a bit sore as I'm starting to teethe but that means I'll soon be eating proper food and not just milk which is exciting. I'm getting so big - I'm now 68cm long and weigh just over 15lbs!!"

" Wow my first Christmas was so much fun! There was lots of crinkly, shiny wrapping paper, twinkling lights, lots of fab new toys and books to play with and all my adoring fans (I think Mum and Dad called them Grandparents......) I've been busy eating lots of new things: mango, squash, beetroot, peas, broccoli, apples, banana, pear and yesterday I had my first taste of cheese! It was yummy and I got to hold it and gnaw on it all by myself :-) I'm scaring Mum and Dad silly with my almost crawling skills. Yesterday I managed to assume the full crawling position with arms and legs both up and ready to go. I haven't got it sussed quite yet but just you wait! I can do a fantastic job of rolling though and end up in lots of place I shouldn't be. That keeps the folks on their toes! he he he"

"Hey I did a cool new thing just the other day. I was doing my crawling practice - just balancing on my hands and knees when oomph I managed to sit! All by myself :-) I've also been hanging onto the sofa while standing. I love standing and can also walk if some kind grown up holds me under the arms. That's fun. Oh and I've been sqealing lots. I'm not sure how the volume control works though and Mum is getting a wee bit of a headache - oops!"

"Well you know all that crawling practice that I've been doing? It's paid off! I can totally CRAWL, quite quickly too. Now that will keep Mum and Dad busy. Oh and I've got a new tooth too. It came came through a couple of weeks ago and I also have 3 (count 'em) other chompers pushing their way through at the same time - ouch."

"So check out the chompers. I have my front four teeth and two new top ones popping through just now. I'm also loving these legs of mine. I can cruise round the furniture from the toy box to the sofa to the coffee table to get at all my lovely picture books. I love throwing them on the floor once I've got my hands on them. I'm also into my lumpy food now which Mum is really happy about. She's been making me homemade stuff just the same as Mum and Dad eat. I love things like pasta with tomato and also humous! love the humous."

"Ten months old is fun. I've got a new playpen which has all my favourite toys in it. I love playing in there while Mum gets 'stuff' done :-) I'm loving playing with my wooden bricks and toddle truck. The other day I stood on my own for a couple of seconds. Mum and Dad freaked out. It was hilarious. I'll have to do it again soon and see what they do then!! I've got six little teeth now and have been brushing my chompers with my very own tiny toothbrush. It has teddy bears on it :-) My new favourite thing to eat is minibabybel. It's just the right size for me to hold and get my teeth into. Well what next...walking perhaps. Will keep you posted."
