the Bump.....
It's official - I have a bump :-)
After wondering where on earth this baby of ours was hiding itself - they have finally made themselves manifest and I am unmistakably bumpy.
I had assumed that I would have much more of a pronounced bump before 20 weeks but it seems our little one decided to put in an appearance a little later. Happily this coincided with Anne's visit. So she now knows that I wasn't lying and we are ACTUALLY going to have a small person shortly.
I have to say I was having a hard time being convinced myself.....it takes rather longer than I had imagined for the news to sink in, but I do now FEEL pregnant which is nice!
I am under no illusion that before long the bumpiness will start to take its toll and I will be longing for a little less bump and a little more room to breathe, but for the moment it's a very nice feeling indeed.
