It all starts today....
Today was my last day at work and I'm now officially a lady who puts her feet up......at least until baby B shows me otherwise!
I had a very nice morning coffee with the girls at work. There were pringles and chocolate truffles and homemade tablet and marshmallow sweeties and fizzy juice. Lets just say it was a bit of a sugar fest!
I was presented with a lovely bag full of baby goodies all wrapped in adorable baby paper - with ducks on - yay ducks!!!
There were bibs and teethers and rubber ducks and baby bath and bum cream and a tiny little soft puppy called 'Fudge' :-)
Miriam made all the sweeties and gave me some lovely daffs from her garden which are cheering up the window in the kitchen.
I left early - really early - about 1.30 early!!! So phoned my Mum and Grandma to see if they wanted to come and pick me up and come back to our flat for some lunch. It was nice to see them after their trip to Northern Ireland to visit my Granny.
It's a funny feeling thinking that I won't be back at Napier for a whole actual year........
Is my brain capable of taking this fact on board.....hmmm I'm still working on it.
Right I'm off to make dinner for hubby coming home. Maybe I'll feel more like I'm on maternity leave when I don't have to get up for work tomorrow???
We shall see.
