4 Months and counting....
So Josh is now 4 months old - wow! Not sure where the time has gone....again. It only seems like five minutes since I was writing a post to mark his first 3 months. Time sure does fly when you're having this much fun!
Joshua is getting cuter by the day (if not the hour) if this is at all possible! He had his 3rd set of immunisations yesterday and was a little star - he hardly cried at all compared to the last two times and even smiled at the health visitor before we left! What a relief. He was very clingy and tired when we got home and cried lots - making up for earlier I guess.
This past week has been pretty stressful for numerous reasons but Josh has kept us smiling with his cheeky grin and new found infectious giggle. He now weighs just over 13lbs and 9oz and is looking more and more like a wee boy in his dungarees and jeans. He just loves his books - we were given a 'Bookstart' pack from the health visitor with more little card books for him to play with. He loves flipping the pages over and will grab the book off you and start 'reading' it himself! He also loves his "Taggie" book that I got for him last week - it is soft & fleecy with lots of ribbon tags sewn through it. He loves rubbing his face in it and chewing the pages - not really 'reading' but he's got to start somewhere right?
After wondering what else this week could throw at us following: JB's former company going into liquidation, my Grandma going into hospital with a suspected heart attack, getting a nasty letter demanding the full wack of council tax (that we had already arranged to pay) and Josh's jags - I'm SO glad it's Friday. With the prospect of a nice weekend seeing our respective folks and showing off the boy things are looking up :-)
